BONBONS (variation on magic bars)

WARNING:
This recipe is not for diabetics or those allergic to nuts.

Ingredients

+1 ½ cup of Kellogg's corn flakes crumbs or graham crumbs.
+3 table spoon of sugar.
+½ cup of melted butter or margarine.
+1 1/3 cup of sweet coconut flakes.
+1 cup of semisweet chocolate chips.
+1 cup of chopped walnuts.
+1 can of BORDEN Eagle Brand's .

Material

+A metallic cooking pan 13 " X 9 " X 2 " (approx. 33,02cm X 22,86cm X 5,08cm).
+A big mixing bowl.
+A measuring cup

Recipe

*Grease the bottom of the pan with some butter or margarine.
*Melt ½ cup of butter or margarine.
*In the mixing bowl, mix together the graham crumbs and the sugar.
*Gradually mix in the melted butter in the mixture.

The mixture should be a bit wet and a little sticky.

*Place and press the mixture on all the surface of the pan of 13 " X 9 " X 2 ".

Make sure to press the mixture firmly at the bottom of the pan. This will be the base for the bonbons.

*Spread a cup of coconut flakes over the base.
*After, spread the chocolate chips over the coconut.
*Spread the walnuts.
*Cover the whole with 1/3 of cup of coconut flakes again.
*Then, spread the Eagle Bran to cover all the nuts and the chocolate.

*Cook in the preheated oven at 350OF (175OC) for between 10 to 15 min.; until the mixture is slightly tanned on the borders of the pan.
*Let it cool and serve in bars.

+Before cutting the mix into bars, you can put it in the refrigerator to let it harden. Serve at room temperature.
