It's a short list of sites where you can find "shareware" or "freeware". A freeware is a software that is absolutely free to use. A shareware is a software that you can use under certain conditions. The main one is that you have to either buy it in a certain of time or delete it from your PC. Often, "sharewares" don't offer all the option of the commercial version. There is just enough to incite you. Also these version stop working after a set period of time, usually 30 days.
